A fond memory for a lot of us here at Gibsons is waking up on Christmas Day and sneaking out to peek into our stockings before mum and dad woke up. Some of the company have children themselves and they know the importance of having good stocking fillers. We’ve created a list to help the Santa’s of the family come up with ideas for their loved ones this year.
Playing Cards
We are proud distributors of Piatnik Unique Singles playing cards, the collection of high quality playing cards available in a number of quirky themes.
In every pack, each of the 52 cards feature an original illustration on the chosen theme that is sourced and produced by Bird Playing Cards. Founded 25 years ago by V&A publisher Nicky Bird, each playing card pack has been inspired by popular culture, such as the infamous Banksy graffiti to icons from the 80s. We have a fantastic range of playing cards available, with a variety of different themes to suit every individual. From our classic set available in blue or red, to our themed cards featuring images of Banksy street art, Marmite, RAF fighter pilots, or our fantastic new Pack of Positivity.

Pixit
This highly addictive, simple to learn game can be played alone, in pairs or in groups – hours of fun inside one little cube! Whether Pixit is played in teams, in pairs or as a solo activity, each mode is exceedingly addictive and gets tremendously tense as the cubes twist and turn. With each game taking between 15 and 30 minutes to play, it’s the perfect entertainment for a long journey or a cosy afternoon.

Zonkers is the fast and frantic dice game that's a whole lot of fun. The aim of the game is to be the player who matches the most dice with the numbers on the cards. Card Game for Rebel Girls
One of our newest products this year, the aim of Card Game for Rebel Girls is to collect and complete sets of Character Cards to score as many Rebel Reward points as possible. Build a team of extraordinary leaders, warriors, pioneers, creators and champions in this original set-collecting card game that celebrates inspiring Rebel Girls from throughout history. Each Rebel Reward Card requires a different team of Rebel Girls to complete the task, so players must use their Character Card’s strengths and the handy Wild Cards to build a squad of strong girls.

Mind the Gap
Mind the Gap the card game, first launched in 2017, is a best-seller with retail giants such as WH Smith, Amazon, John Lewis and Waterstones.
Step on board for a trip around London’s famous Underground, with this quick-play card game featuring well known stations from the tube. Simple but engaging, this game is just the ticket for young travellers and old timers alike; it’s a more than adequate way of whiling away a few enjoyable hours.
Each player is dealt 8 cards and must match a coloured line from the previous card to play. Your opponents will try to slow you down with a stash of special cards that could hinder your journey, whilst your cards can be used against other passengers to slow them down or trip them up. The aim of the game is to avoid delays and be the first to get rid of your cards – but above all, make sure you MIND THE GAP!

Pass the Bomb Card Game
This highly explosive card game will test players’ nerves to the limits. Pass the Bomb card game is a fine example of how tongue-tied panic can clear the mind instantly! Quick wit and thinking is required to find a word that begins with the letter on the card and matches the theme. With only a 10 second time limit to think of something, hesitation is not allowed and the player holding the fewest cards at the end of the game is the winner.

TFL Underground Map Tubes
Gibsons have collaborated with Transport for London, the iconic government body responsible for London's rail networks, including the London Underground, DLR, London Overground and all the trams and buses that travel around the UK’s capital city to produce a series of puzzles and games. We have a 250 piece puzzle and a 150 piece puzzle, each featuring the iconic modern day London Underground tube map, which was first designed in 1931 by Henry C Beck and based on circuit diagrams he drew for his day job as an engineer.
Packaged in an innovative cardboard tube, this compact jigsaw puzzle is great for travelling or the perfect gift for any puzzle fan!
