If you’re a fan of a good jigsaw puzzle, you’re probably always on the lookout for exciting new releases to add to your puzzle collection.

But with new jigsaw puzzles being released all the time, it can be a challenge to keep on top of them all (we average around one new Gibsons puzzle release per week!)

If you feel like you might have missed some new puzzle releases in 2022, you don’t need to worry—we’ve got you covered!

In this post, we’ve put together 10 of the latest puzzles we’ve released so far in 2022, so there’s no danger of you missing out.

Happy and Glorious – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

Communities came together across the UK in June of this year to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Parties, picnics, parades, processions and pageants were held up and down the country to honour Her Majesty serving as monarch for 70 years.

This beautiful puzzle has been designed by the talented Victor McLinden and commemorates some of the highlights of Her Majesty’s reign. You can find brilliant visual references to her coronation, Commonwealth visits, and the 2012 London Olympics.

So, if you’re looking for a great new jigsaw puzzle to serve as memento of this years Jubilee celebrations, look no further than this 1000-piece puzzle.

Just Like Us – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

Another great new jigsaw puzzle you might have missed in 2022 is our collaboration with Just Like Us.

Just Like Us is a charity that helps improve the lives of LGBT+ young people across the country. Founded in 2016, the charity run school talks to help break down stereotypes, provides advice on how to tackle anti-LGBT+ attitudes and provides support for any young people that need it.

To celebrate 50 years since the first Pride event took place in the UK, Gibsons donated £4000 to Just Like Us. We also partnered with the charity and artist Lucy Kirk to put together this amazing 1000-piece puzzle that celebrates the Pride movement.

For every copy of this jigsaw that is sold, 25p is donated to Just Like Us.

100 Years of Walls Ice Cream – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

2022 also marked the 100th birthday of Walls Ice Cream in the UK.

Famous for classics like Calippo's, Strawberry Splits, Rocket Lollies, Cornettos and Mini-Milks—there probably aren’t too many people in the UK that haven’t enjoyed a Walls Ice Cream on a hot summer’s day.

This 1000-piece collage is a new jigsaw puzzle for 2022 and is already a favourite with our customers. It charts the history of Walls Ice Cream from their beginnings in the 1920s to the modern classics of today.

Sweet Memories of the 1960s – 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

It seems like 2022 is the year for celebrating nostalgia, as this new jigsaw puzzle celebrates some of the UK’s favourite sweet treats from the 1960s.

Robert Opie is the artist behind the jigsaw, and his impressive collection of brand history can be found at The Museum of Brands in London. It’s well worth a visit if brand nostalgia is your thing!

This 1000-piece jigsaw transports you back in time to the 1960s. It really is fascinating to look at how some of our favourite modern sweet brands have evolved over time and reminisce about some of our old favourites that are no longer being produced.

Book Club: Charles Dickens – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

This is one of our first puzzles in our new Book Club series. This 1000-piece jigsaw celebrates some of Charles Dicken’s greatest works.

Lovingly illustrated by Tim Stringer, fans of Charles Dickens will be delighted to find visual references to classics such as Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol and Great Expectations.

Book Club: Jane Austen – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

Are you a fan of Jane Austen? Or know a puzzler who is? This is the new jigsaw puzzle for you.

This 1000-piece puzzle celebrates the work of Jane Austen and is inspired by some of her most famous novels—Sense and Sensibility, Emma, and Pride and Prejudice.

Beautifully painted by Billie Michael, this new jigsaw puzzle was launched alongside our Charles Dickens puzzle as part of our brand-new 2022 Book Club series.

As with all our jigsaws, this puzzle is made from 100% recycled puzzle board and for every purchase that is made on our site we’ll protect 5 trees and 100 square metres of rainforest from destruction.

Written In The Stars – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

If you’re a puzzle lover that has an interest in astrology, this new 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle is probably right up your street.

Designed and illustrated by Amanda Hillier, this beautiful zodiac wheel includes the names, symbols and visual representation of each sign of the zodiac.

Great Ormond Street Hospital – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

Since opening its doors in 1852 with only 10 beds, Great Ormond Street Hospital has become renowned as one of the leading children’s hospitals in the world.

The hospital currently treats up to 619 children and young people every day. It has also pioneered many medical breakthroughs, including opening the UK’s first heart and lung unit in 1947 and developing the first heart and lung bypass machine for children in the 1962.

This new jigsaw puzzle has been drawn by Richard Argent, who specialises in historic cartoons. The illustration includes visual references to many of the great achievement of Great Ormond Street Hospital, and also includes some entertaining captions and little-known facts throughout.

Gibsons were proud to support Great Ormond Street Hospital with a £4000 donation earlier in the year, and 25p from each one of these puzzles sold will also be donated to the hospital.

Adventures On The London Underground – 250 Extra Large Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

We’ve also launched some exciting new jigsaw puzzles for children in 2022.

This visual tribute to the London Underground is one of our favourite new jigsaws for younger puzzle fans.

Illustrated by the talented Clare Elsom, this 250-piece jigsaw puzzle is colourful, educational and has extra large pieces. It’s an ideal jigsaw for young puzzlers aged 6 upwards.

The Unusual Alphabet – 24 Extra Large Piece Jigsaw Puzzle
