It’s the beginning of Spring and we all know what that means – new Gibsons jigsaws!
Our Spring collection launches today, with 14 new puzzles joining our collection, including some familiar favourites that have a new look. Everyone at Gibsons is excited to be expanding the product range this year, providing more hours of fun for our beloved customers.
Here is a look at some of the new puzzles that are available on our website now!
2022 marks 50 years since the first Pride took place in the UK. To commemorate this significant date, we have teamed up with LGBT+ charity Just Like Us to release a special puzzle that celebrates the movement. Pride gives the opportunity for expression of celebration, joy and triumph, but also to the voice to rightly express the continued fight for those injustices and inequalities that still exist today.
Every day, 619 children & young people from across the UK arrive at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. A better future for seriously ill children starts here.
This 1000-piece puzzle has been beautiful drawn by Richard Argent, an artist specialising in historic cartoons. He has drawn this Great Ormond Street Hospital picture as a tribute to the doctors and nurses who treated him for a life-threatening illness as a baby.
New Traditional Jigsaw Puzzles – 1000 pieces
We have three new 1000-piece blue-box puzzles entering our range this Spring.
Brilliant Bees celebrates some of our most important pollinators and puzzlers may be surprised to learn that there are over 250 bee species in the UK alone!
Trevor Mitchell fans will be happy to see Treats at the Station entering our 1000-piece collection. Originally part of our 4x500 Stop Me and Buy One, Treats at the Station reminds you to treat yourself on a hot summer’s day.
Also entering our new range is Neal’s Yard, featuring the colourful corner of Covent Garden in London and created by a new Gibsons artist, Elizabeth Blustin.
Familiar Favourites – Sweet Memories Collection
Long-term fans of Gibsons may recognise our Sweet Memories jigsaw puzzles which are coming back as 500 pieces. Featuring the candy and chocolates from four huge decades, the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, this collection joins our shelves in eco-friendly gift boxes making it that bit easier to bring back sweet memories.
The Sweet Memory collection was designed by Robert Opie who years ago began to record the history of brands and products that surround us in daily life. His collection can now be viewed at The Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising in London.
New 636-piece Puzzles
Our 636-piece jigsaw puzzles are ideal for classic panoramic scenery and we are excited to bring two new designs into this collection. One is from fan-favourite Linda Jane Smith and features her cheeky dogs making a mess at the fish and chip shop; the other is a beautiful vista of St Andrews beautifully illustrated by Terry Harrison.
Other New Releases
We have a large range of other new jigsaws that are also available this Spring.
One of Britain’s best-loved brands, Wall’s ice cream is a national treasure. 100 Years of Wall’s Ice Cream commemorates their centennial, celebrated this year in 2022. The puzzle explores the company’s journey over the years from their older classics to today’s modern-day names that everyone will recognise.
The Gibsons Book Club series celebrates the timeless literature and treasured stories which have enthralled our minds, captured our imaginations, and earned their place on our "must-read" lists for years. Book Club: Jane Austen is the latest puzzle in this collection.
