Since the first Festival was held in 2012 over £83,000 has been raised in support of local children’s charities so the cancellation of the Festival is a blow to the finances of the charities that would have been supported.
Around fifty volunteers from the local community had assembled over 1,000 jigsaws for sale at the Festival so, rather than leave them gathering dust, the Organisers have created an online shop offering these jigsaws and many more for sale.
The wide range of puzzles include, children's jigsaws, traditional country scenes, double-sided, panoramic, unique and unusual pieces, mirror image and more. You can enjoy making your selection by Piece Count, Puzzle Theme or Manufacturer.
All the jigsaws intended for Charity Jigsaw Festival 2020 and many more are available on a click and deliver basis. Delivery to selected Postcodes in West Yorkshire is by our own Courier service, to the rest of the UK by Royal Mail and to selected countries in Europe by International Courier.
Pre-owned jigsaws are being donated and assembled by members of the local community, to ensure that they are complete, then broken down and re-boxed. In addition new jigsaws are being donated and offered for sale.
The team of dedicated volunteers will welcome the donation of jigsaws and offers to assemble jigsaws. If you are able to help please see the Volunteers section on the website.
The Organisers are delighted that Gibsons, who have supported previous Charity Jigsaw Festivals in Brighouse, are sponsoring the cause and kindly donating some stock.
All proceeds from the sale of jigsaws from the shop will be donated to local charities supporting disadvantaged and underprivileged children and young people in Calderdale.
