It’s a busy afternoon at the farm. As the cows are brought in for milking, Paul and Anne watch the piglets play around in the mud. This 1000 piece puzzle was painted by the talent Kevin Walsh, who is known for his nostalgic scenes and has many jigsaws in the Gibsons range.
As with all Gibsons jigsaws, we use 100% recycled puzzle board and work with the best artists from all around the world. The beautifully illustrated pieces are designed to fit perfectly together; in fact, we use the thickest puzzle board on the market.
We’ve made some positive changes to our processes, so you can be sure you’re getting the same great puzzles and know that they are kinder to the environment. Not only does the box have a fresh new look, but we’ve used biodegradable clear labels to secure the lid instead of shrink wrap to reduce our plastic waste.
There is a gloss coating on the box for extra protection and the puzzle pieces are stored in a plastic bag that can be recycled by most councils. Because the box is slightly smaller than our previous designs, we need less room to transport our products which reduces our carbon footprint and means you can store your puzzles more easily. We have also popped an artwork poster inside for you to reference whilst you piece together your lovely jigsaw puzzle.

About the artist
Kevin Walsh
Kevin was born in Castleford in the heart of former industrial West Riding of Yorkshire, from the same town as famous sculptor Henry Moore. During his degree, where he studied illustration at the Wakefield College of Art, Kevin became well known for his aircraft paintings and became a member of the Guild of Aviation Artists. In recent years he has become increasingly known for a much wider variety of subjects, such as landscapes, transport and city life, although many of these subjects focus greatly on nostalgia and can be found one a diverse range of products, from greeting cards to biscuit tins. Many of his original oil paintings can be seen at the Headrow Gallery in Leeds.
