We are thrilled to reveal the brand new addition to our Iconic Brands Collection, The Official VW Campervan Jigsaw.
Packaged in a mini tin replica of the classic 1960s RHD campervan, the 500 piece puzzle is a montage of the quirky campers that were a common sight during the 50s, 60s and 70s.
Featuring images of the iconic ‘split screen’ campervan and another with a crazy flower power pattern, the montage will have puzzlers dreaming of hot summer days spent caravanning by the coast. Once the puzzle is complete, the sturdy tin is the perfect place to store trinkets, knick-knacks or even campervan keys.
Gibsons’ jigsaw puzzles are made from 100% recycled, high quality puzzle board. The VW Campervan jigsaw puzzle joins our other branded classics including Marmite, The Great British Bake Off and Pringles.

Presented in an adorable cake-slice shaped tin, the 250 piece puzzle depicts some of the series’ most memorable showstoppers, such as Selasi’s jaw-dropping botanical cake and Nadiya’s puffed-rice marshmallow peacock, in a fun and colourful montage. Moreover, as the tin is suitable for food storage it is perfect for stowing your favourite slice of cake in once the puzzle is complete.
The Great British Bake Off has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, with the Series 7 finale achieving an audience of 16 million viewers; the biggest TV audience of 2016. Last September, Gibsons released two jigsaws that portray a collection of the ‘showstoppers’ from the previous series which have been lovingly completed by contestants Candice, Benjamina and Jane.

To celebrate National Puzzle Day (29th January), we have released a brand new jigsaw which was inspired by a photograph taken by competition winner, Louise Asekokhai.
In anticipation of National Puzzle Day, we gave avid puzzlers and budding photographers a chance to have their photo painted by artist Emma Ball and turned into a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle. Entries were submitted online last year and the winner was selected by our Product Development team. Louise Asekokhai’s winning photograph features the brightly coloured fishing boats that have docked at Cadgwith Cove.
“Jigsaw puzzles have been a core part of our business for over 30 years” states Managing Director, Kate Armitage, “so to celebrate National Puzzle Day, we wanted to offer our devoted fans a chance to have their image turned into a jigsaw puzzle that could be enjoyed by thousands. Louise Asekokhai was the lucky winner as we felt her photo would suit Emma Ball’s distinct style. We’re really pleased with the end result and hope everyone enjoys piecing the scene together.”
Aptly named, ‘The Fishing Village’, the 500 piece puzzle is presented in a compact, square gift box measuring 16x16x7.5cm, making it the perfect gift for any keen puzzler. The jigsaw will join our Emma Ball gift puzzle range, which includes eleven jigsaws that are presented in compact gift boxes and stylish cardboard tubes, depicting beautiful scenes from all over Britain.
‘The Fishing Village’ is available now and can be found in garden centres, high street department stores, independent toy shops and online. Find your nearest Gibsons retailer here: http://gibsonsgames.co.uk/where-to-buy/

We are excited to announce that the much-awaited, I Love Autumn jigsaw puzzle is finally here! Available from garden centres, online or high street retailers, the 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle will be available in mid January.
To celebrate the release, we interviewed the man behind the madness and artist of our best selling ‘I Love’ range, Mike Jupp.
Gibsons: Hi Mike, how are you doing? Are you all set for Christmas?
Mike: Great thanks! Christmas makes no real difference to me, except that just about everything is closed at a time when things blow–up and you can’t get them fixed! But I do like twinkling lights (except flashing blue ones).
Gibsons: What does a typical Mike Jupp Christmas consist of?
Mike: Possibly meeting my daughters for a lunchtime pint. Otherwise, it’ll just be me & my dog at home…where I can get on with some of my ‘projects’ in peace.
Gibsons: What’s your favourite Christmas song?
Mike: Impossible to answer. I love medieval music at Christmas, although Kirsty MacColl & Shane MacGowan’s ‘Fairy Tale of New York’ has got to be up there!
Gibsons: Your brand new jigsaw puzzle, I Love Autumn, is available in a few weeks’ time, are you excited for the release?
Mike: Oh, of course!
Gibsons: Which part of the jigsaw is your favourite?
Mike: The signature! It means I’ve finally finished it!
Gibsons: Were there any tricky bits?
Mike: The only ‘tricky’ bit is keeping the characters and scenery to scale within the perspective!
Gibsons: Did you originally envisage the jigsaw to look like this? Do you have an idea in mind at the beginning and stick with it or do your finished pieces always look entirely different from how you originally imagined it?
Mike: I create a photo in my mind before I start. The end result is more of less the same!
Gibsons: Out of the 14 jigsaws in our ‘I Love’ range, which is your favourite?
Mike: Probably ‘Autumn’, because I always try and better my previous one. But, I am pleased with all four of the ‘Seasons’ as a collection.
I do hope we’re going to produce an ‘I Love A Juppy Year’, which would be a box with I Love Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter mixed up inside! Now that would cause headaches and marital breakdowns!
Gibsons: Now that all the seasons are complete, what’s next? Do you have any ideas for the next Gibsons jigsaw puzzle?
Mike: I suggested ‘I Love Fishing’ because I’m fed up with drawing architecture as it’s extremely difficult and takes forever to complete! However, I have been pursuaded by Gibsons’ Product Development Team to go ahead with my other suggestion, ‘I Love Weddings’ which I’m planning on filling with mishaps and mayhem!
Happy Christmas everyone and thanks for buying my puzzles!
Gibsons: Thanks Mike, and Merry Christmas to you!
