The Glory Days
by Tony Ryan
Founded by the Earl of March in 1998, the Goodwood Revival is a wonderful event for motoring enthusiasts and fans of this golden era. The festival is held in September at the Goodwood racing circuit where Classic Grand Prix cars, sports cars and saloons from the 1940s to 1960s are both on display and can be seen racing.
In this 1000 piece puzzle, Tony Ryan has captured the atmosphere of the event and the mood of joyous nostalgia!
He is now a freelance illustrator and experiments with watercolour, gouache, oil and pastels. In recent years he has taken courses to develop his interest in printmaking and Japanese woodcut and many of his paintings are influenced by his own personal life and memories of when he was growing up in Lancashire.
